Absolutely love the German schmear Ron applied to my fireplace. He was great to work with & would highly recommend!

They do amazing work. The custom furniture in my home from Attic and Earth not only helps my house work better for us, but it still looks beautiful like the day it was installed. We’ve had our furniture from Attic and Earth for four years, with three babies, and daily use. Nothing store bought has lasted as long. It’s hard to find quality like this.

Such AMAZING work from attic+earth in our home! Project entailed engineered hardwood flooring throughout the upstairs, custom banisters, and reno in several baths (vanities, etc.). What a transformation. Couldn’t be happier about how awesome everything turned out. The careful attention to detail. Impeccable craftsmanship. Up for pretty much any challenge you may have. Always making sure you are satisfied. And so nice to work with. We are huge fans. Top notch. Definitely will be in touch again for our next project!

We live in a Pittsburgh History & Landmarks home that is almost 100 years old. It needed a multitude of carpentry repairs to the exterior involving windows, entrance surrounds, window, door, and garage door casements, and siding repairs. We have been very happy with Ron's approach to this job. He was clear about the difficulties that could be encountered to do these repairs and then proceeded to actually exceed our expectations as he completed each area. He is kept us in the loop daily and always followed through with what he said he would do. His finish work is impeccable. We feel lucky to have found such a talented carpenter, plan to continue to use his services, and are more than happy to recommend him to any caring home or business owner.

I highly recommend Attic + Earth for any custom project you may have in mind! I contacted Ron as we wanted a barn door installed in our recently re-modeled basement living area. The doorway where the door would hang was not a standard size and there was a beam above it which did not allow for a standard track to be used. Ron and his team built a beautiful door to fit the space in addition to a custom raw steel track that tied into the ceiling studs which allowed us to hang the door safely - and it looks awesome! We also had two custom barn door style closet doors made to go with the larger door and a wood mantle to cover the existing concrete one on our fireplace. The doors have really tied together the entire space and are so well built! Couldn’t be happier with how they turned out or how easy communication was with Ron. He was quick to respond, detailed and, the best part, we basically just gave an inspo photo and he took it from there! Highly recommend them for your project!

I had a round screen door that needed replaced. This company was the only one that answered my request. I wanted a glass and screen replacement.

I have worked with Ron from Attic & Earth Home over the span of several years. I was first drawn to his work by a tag on Instagram and began to explore his website and saw that his work was the exact kind of decor that I love. His website boasted “custom” projects and that you could reach out at any time. After seeing a video post of his home mantel I was hoping he could replicate and make one for me. The mantle Ron made from scratch was the first custom project he did for me and the love affair continues with multiple more custom projects. Ron let me have complete design control with a suggestion here and there. He custom made the mirror on the mantle with the type of wood I specified and with custom measurements. I also had a small space that needed an end table, Ron made it exactly the way I wanted with the exact measurements I specified. He also makes decor for around the house such as the LOVE letters and XO. Ron also made the American flag! The last project he made for me was a large toy box (my intended purpose), again with the exact measurements I wanted. He has been easy to work with, replies in a timely manner and completes projects in a timely manner all while updating you on where your project timeline stands in his other abundance of custom orders. You will not be disappointed working with Ron from Attic & Earth Home.

attic+earth HOME has worked with me on 5 custom projects for my house thus far ( a small table, a serving tray, a towel rack, a king size headboard/footboard, and a barn door). Ron's quality and professionalism has always been top-notch. Very easy to work with and quick turnaround time for being a custom wood craftsman. The barn door project we did together really brought an incredible final touch to a master bathroom renovation that I did back in the spring of 2019. They have become my "go-to" designers and builders. I highly recommend working with attic+earth Home if you are looking for quality rustic / shabby chic projects and decor!

Very good with communication, punctuality, cleanliness, and craftsmanship. We had an accelerated timetable and they completed the project ahead of schedule. They built a ship lap rustic style accent wall in the hallway. We receive countless compliments on it. I will gladly use them again.

Can't speak highly enough of the work Attic+Earth did on our projects. Ronnie was prompt, thorough and provided ample pre-project feedback to make sure we weighed all options. His craftsmanship and work ethic are unmatched. We were recommended to Attic+Earth by friends of ours and couldn't be happier. Actually found out other friends had used them as well and they echo our appreciation of his work.

Ronnie designed bench seating for our kitchen area nook and exceeded all expectations. We simply gave him dimensions, an idea of what we wanted, and he went above and beyond to make it come to life! I looked a long time for a sofa table that I could put a bench underneath for extra seating/eating in my family room, especially for parties. I came across attic+earth and saw that they had exactly what I was looking for, so I contacted Ron about building me a custom sofa table. Working with Ron to get exactly what I wanted was wonderful. He kept me posted on the progress and even texted me pictures. The table that was delivered is beautiful and well made. It looks great in my family room, and I couldn't be happier.

Attic & Earth is a family owned and operated small business here in the Pittsburgh area. What a treasure they are. I have hired them on many occasions and they never disappoint. Their prices are reasonable, turn around time is quick and as promised, and their craftsmanship is excellent. They do furniture rehab as well as creative builds. They also carry awesome repurposed vintage finds. I would confidently recommend them to anyone!

I contacted attic and earth home to create an island for our newly remodeled kitchen. I was able to describe the island I wanted and give the measurements over the phone. I received a quote and a timeframe for completion of the project. During the building process Ronnie kept us involved by sending videos of his work in process. The end result was an island that was exactly what I had imagined. It’s beautiful and is an exceptional quality.

attic & earth is the ONE brand that I will ALWAYS come back to. Not only is Ron’s work INCREDIBLE, his professionalism is top-notch. He is quick to respond, fair & honest and sincerely appreciative. I live in a builder-grade home, that lacks storage and space for my growing family. I needed some custom furniture that was functional and pretty, but couldn’t find anything at a store to fit my space and function the way I needed it to. Ron took my input and created two beautiful pantry cabinets that we’ve used for 4 years now. He also made custom end tables in my living room for storing all the kids’ toys without having a toy box in my living room. I also have some other pieces as well, a storage bench for shoes, coat rack, and book cases. His custom furniture has made my house work for us and our growing family, but it’s also added to the decor. It’s made our home liveable. Five stars isn’t enough for Attic and Earth.

Love attic+earth! I purchased a barn wood hall table from them a few years ago and it was the talked about piece in my home - then I asked them to distress a kitchen table of mine to look like an old farmhouse kitchen and it turned out amazing! Again, I had so many compliments! I cant stop looking at the work and I am sure I will be purchasing future projects/pieces! So glad I found attic+earth!

I have several pieces from attic&earth, ranging from a side table to a king headboard and matching king size bench and a coffee table. All very unique! He does beautiful and quality work. Will definitely go back when I need another custom piece.

Ron and the ‘Attic and Earth’ team just finished a project for me, that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I’m so excited and pleased how it turned out. It was a custom accent wall in the Master Bedroom! Even though my house was a custom built model home, there was something missing in the Master Bedroom! Can’t wait for my family to see it! Bought an item through their website and went to pick it up. I only live about 10 miles away. When I picked it up I went into the barn which is filled with 2 stories of unique items. I made an additional 2 purchases from the store but had to leave quickly since I could have bought things forever! Included was a large wooden heart which was handmade by Ron. Beautiful. I’ve had Ron, and at the time his co-worker, Tyler do quite a few jobs for me. Each time has been a wonderful experience, and I’m always thrilled with the outcome. They’re always very respectful and courteous, and show up when they say they’re going to show up, which can be hard to find it seems like these days. I liked having them so much, I would even make them homemade soup for lunch lol. Can’t wait to come up with another project to have them work on for me. You won’t be disappointed if you decide to go with Attic and Earth Home!

Ron has worked on a few things for me at this point, and the thing that stands out the most about him is his strong moral compass. You really can’t talk to him for more than 5 minutes, without being aware of the fact that this is someone who knows the value of his own work (and charges appropriately)—but who is also realistic about what might be the best option for you in a given situation. He is deeply compassionate and concerned with making sure you get the best possible result in any given situation—and is such a fixer that he can’t help stepping up and suggesting things you hadn’t even noticed needed fixing. His work is top notch—he is clear in his communication, follows up when he says he will, shows up on time, leaves the place cleaner than it was when he started, and stands by his work so firmly, that he actually follows up with you a bit after he’s worked for you—just to make sure you’re happy with the results. (Not everyone is confident enough to do that! :)) Finally—he is generous with his time and knowledge, and quite simply, a joy to deal with in every way. (Bonus: he gave me a really fantastic referral to a specialist when I needed one, saving me a LOT of headaches!!!) I would recommend Ron to anyone who values consistency, honesty and professionalism—he’s worth every penny he charges and then some, and I look forward to working with him again in the future! :)

I am so thrilled with the work that Ronnie + Kurt did at my home. They prepped and painted several rooms and it looks perfect and beautiful. Ronnie also did a few other things for me - new kitchen faucet, improved dryer vent. I am so pleased to have found them and plan to use them in the future. Really, really great!!! Ron and Kurt from attic + earth did an incredible job on our powder bathroom renovation. I can’t recommend them enough! This was a total gut job because unfortunately our subfloor needed replaced and the vintage tile had been painted over (those were just a couple reasons!) This included demo, new subfloor, new hex tile floor, dry wall, beadboard installation, new toilet and sink installation, some painting, custom radiator cover - and much more. They also helped coordinate getting our plumbing and electrical updated. From start to finish, Ron and Kurt were very professional - always letting us know ahead of time when they were on their way, keeping us updated on the project each day (and often throughout the day- communication with them was great!), and they cleaned up thoroughly each day. The nice thing about working with them vs other companies is that they are flexible and work by the hour. This is helpful if other things come up in your project that maybe wasn’t in the original estimation. It was also nice because we applied the wallpaper ourselves and did some of the painting - we saved some money that way. Last but not least, you can easily trust Ron and Kurt to be the professionals they are. It’s not easy having folks in your home each day to work on a project but they made it easy. Can’t wait to work with them on our next project!

Can’t recommend Attic & Earth enough. My wife and I were looking for homes for over a year and when we found one we were interested with, my wife convinced me to call Attic & Earth to walk through the house with me. I couldn’t be more grateful that she did! Ron came over on our first walkthrough and we talked through all of the projects we had in mind. As someone who doesn’t know much about construction and demolition Ron was able to explain what projects were reasonable and put a plan in place to accomplish them systematically. We purchased the house and Ron got right to work. All in all we couldn’t have been happier with our experience and the partnership that they provided with us along the way.

We wanted to install bead board on our bedroom ceiling and had a basic plan but didn't feel like installing it ourselves so we decided to hire attic+earth. Ron took my initial idea and improved on it significantly. He's very detail oriented, communicative and clean. A+ in my book; we love the finished product.
