Antique 15-Lite French Door with Original Wavy Glass & Lead Cames

Product Description

Beautiful antique French door featuring 15 individual panes of original wavy glass separated by traditional lead cames. The solid wood construction, recessed lower panel, and classic white painted finish give this door a timeless architectural appeal.

Measuring 30 1/4” wide, 82 1/4” tall, and 2 1/4” thick, this generously sized antique door also offers the potential to be trimmed down to approximately 28” wide, providing additional flexibility for installation.

The door does not currently have a doorknob, allowing the new owner to select and install hardware in their preferred location. It also features original built-in locking mechanisms on the back of the door, with bolts designed to secure into both the door header and floor.

This door appears to have originally been part of a matching set of antique French doors, although its companion door is unfortunately no longer available. There is also evidence of a previously installed astragal molding along one edge, which is now missing.

The beautiful original wavy glass remains intact, with no broken panes, and offers the subtle distortion and character that make antique glass so desirable.

Perfect for a pantry, home office, interior entryway, or architectural restoration project. Whether incorporated into a traditional space or repurposed as a unique architectural feature, this door offers endless possibilities.

This antique door shows age-appropriate wear, including imperfections in the painted finish and wood, adding to its authentic character and charm.
